Day 2: Well, I just went out to the walking path to check on the bees’ progress. Sure enough, humans got involved! The gardeners pruned the bush! Amazingly, the hive was not destroyed! Unfortunately, the bees’ hive is completely exposed, and probably will not make it through the rest of this day without being discovered by some conscientious walker who will consider this HUGE hive to be a threat to our safety.
In honor of Mother’s Day, and all homemakers everywhere, I hope they survive! Stay tuned…
I want to hear how a gardener pruned a bush with a beehive on it. That’s like hand washing a live bomb.
Good point, Andrew! Talk about “being in the zone”!
The Danger Zone….
LOL!
I’m amazed that a gardener was able to do this without being attacked. Except to say that because this is a wasps nest it does not constantly have residence in it like a beehive does. Even so, wasps are more aggressive than bees.
Let alone some crazy lady with an I-phone pushed up in their faces! LOL!
